As a Systems Engineer at Lam, you'll design complex frameworks, systems, or products for our wafer fabrication equipment. * Is the lead engineer of a development program (product), making sure that mechanical and electrical hardware and the tool software work together to meet the system specification - You will define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility to integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a cohesive system. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses combined with your multi-layered technical expertise you help shape the next generation of Lam initiatives. * Owns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration options * Is accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specification
