Job description
- Leadership of an interdisciplinary supplier relationship team, including Quality, SCM, Indirect Purchasing, technical functions, including validation, GMP, HSE, and responsibility for achieving EVER standards.
- Work across global functions to ensure projects progress according to plan and drive toward significant, tangible business results.
- Ensuring systematic assessment of supplier resources and capability at the company level, and thereby fulfilling the needs in accordance with the EVER strategy.
- Organization of business review meetings where the key stakeholders and technical experts discuss shared opportunities, possible obstacles to cooperation, necessary activities and resources, and exchange market strategies and trends.
- Managing performance of suppliers and supplier relationship team
- Acting as the first point of contact for escalations of issues/Key Performance Indicators.
- Defining objectives for interactive data plates for the monitoring of supplier KPIs.
- Responsibility for the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
- Escalation of supplier-related changes and issues and perform ad-hoc analysis.
- Formulation of resource plans and budgets for the supplier relationship teams.
- Support identification and assessment of business opportunities, leadership of projects for supplier performance improvements
Skills & Qualification
- University degree or equivalent experience (chemical, pharmaceutical, engineering or business bachelor or masters degree)
- 6-8+ years functional and leadership experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experienced in leading teams in a project management environment
- Excellent, pro-active problem-solving and analytical skill-set
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) in German and English language
