Our Client is an Austrian company in Vienna, who is an expert in innovative functional testing technologies. They are looking for a Director of Engineering (m/f/d) who is proficient in leadership of development processes and open for new challenges.
Tasks:
- You are an active member of the engineering and product leadership team
- Cooperate with different departments to define and implement an integrated and comprehensive product roadmap predictably and according to aggressive timelines
- Ensure an effective, efficient, and agile software development process across multiple development teams
- Develop the technical architecture to utilize the latest cloud, SaaS, mobile, analytics/AI technologies
- Lead of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation; maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies
- Ensure that development lifecycle processes meet internal and external requirements
- Manage, motivate and recruit a growing development team
Qualifications:
- Senior software development leadership experience of 7-10 years
- Experience in software development in a fast-paced, growing SaaS company
- Experience & understanding of cloud architectures, including shipping cloud products, patterns, development processes and driving strategic architecture efforts
- You need to proof a track record of success in job performance and progression ability to build credibility with the senior management team
- Successfully led, developed and managed software development teams
- Leadership and ability to motivate teams
